Background and Experience
Dr Alla Demutska (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist with more than 15 years of experience across Public and Private mental health services, university setting and in private practice. Alla has completed her qualifications at the University of Melbourne and Monash University, Australia and currently lives in Singapore lecturing and researching in Psychology. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), and a board endorsed Clinical Supervisor.
Alla has designed therapy programs and facilitated multiple therapy groups in complex trauma, Schema Therapy, ACT, Compassion based therapies and perinatal depression. She has facilitated group retreats in Bali & Thailand and supervises students and peers.
Alla supports her clients with a range of experiences including relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, panic attacks, trauma, chronic pain and health conditions and chronic stress. She strikes a balance between creating safe spaces where one feels heard and understood and keeping her clients focused towards meeting their own needs and getting unstuck from maladaptive patterns. Alla’s practice is LGBTQIA+ inclusive, sex positive, and accepting of those from all walks of life
Alla provides telehealth appointments Mon-Fri evenings and there are no Medicare rebates for her services.
