Background and Experience

Justin was awarded a Master of Clinical Psychology at RMIT University. Before this he completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology at the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Swinburne. For his master’s thesis he undertook research into the influence of Facebook use on emotional well-being. He has also conducted academic research into the fields of moral and cognitive psychology.

Justin has worked with clients across the lifespan on issues such as sex, sexuality and gender, relational issues and dynamics, chronic health issues, depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, work performance, family issues, eating habits, and sleep problems. Justin has treated clients with conditions such as sleep disorders, chronic heart conditions, social anxiety, generalised anxiety, panic attacks, depression, pain, and PTSD to name a few. In addition, his practice is culturally informed, and he is a LGBTQIA+ ally. Justin draws on a number of evidence-based approaches including Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and CBT for insomnia (CBT-i).
