Luke Bamford - Master of CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY

Luke provides a warm and relaxed environment focussing on practical coping skills and strategies with his clients. Luke promotes his client’s strengths to overcome challenges and develop self-awareness. He has an open, understanding and non-judgemental stance.

Background and Experience

Luke was awarded a Masters of Clinical Psychology at the Cairnmillar Institute in Melbourne. He has been supporting individuals with complex and long term emotional, thinking and behavioural difficulties. Luke provides comprehensive assessment and collaborative treatment options to teenagers and adults with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, mood dissregulation, anger and interpersonal conflict, PTSD, trauma, grief and loss, domestic violence, chronic pain/illness, stress, ADHD skills training and interpersonal issues.

Luke is commited to delivering culturally informed, trauma sensitive, and LGBTQIA+ safe care. He has received formal training in several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitising and Reprocessing (EMDR).
