Nazli Kayhan -
Masters of Clinical Psychology
Nazli (she/her) is the founder and Director of Solace Psychology. She is passionate about mental health services and the impact that it can have on people’s lives. She believes that through developing an understanding of our minds and emotions we can greatly improve our connection with ourselves and others; and thereby our wellbeing. Nazli’s practice is LGBTQIA+ inclusive, sex positive, and accepting of those from all walks of life.
Background and Experience
Nazli was awarded a Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Melbourne.
Nazli has assessed and treated adolescents, adults and older adults across a range of inpatient and outpatient settings in Australia’s largest private hospitals where she has also designed and facilitated an outpatient mindfulness compassion group therapy program.
She is trained in a number of trauma-focused therapies, including DBT (Dialectic Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Schema Therapy, EMDR and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). She is committed to her ongoing development and training.
Nazli supervises psychologists and clinical registrars in a broad range of therapies.
